Big Horn (East)
Located at the base of a mountain range in a major golf country club, this 5,000 sq. ft. home is designed to meet the owners desire to design a home utilizing a circular vocabulary and water features. Utilizing the adjacent mountain slopes, a guest, upon entering the inner courtyard, is met with a cascading waterfall which eventually becomes a stream and reflection pool. The dining room looks out thru the glass sliding doors to the water environment and special tree lighting.

Big Horn (West)
The client’s desire to have a contemporary desert home was satisfied by utilizing wide overhand copper clad roofs, angular wall plans and cascading water falls. By excavating the golf course bank which fronted onto the golf course, the limited small lot size was solved by placing two guest bedroom/bathrooms at the lower level. A waterfall cascading from the main level to the lower swimming pool continued the emphasis on water features.

Bighorn Mountain Estates
Located in a prestigious private golf club in Southern California, this ˝ acre site presented a major challenge, as the lot was too small to meet the preferred home size. Equally challenging was the hillside slope conditions which eventually required the garage location to be over the lower kitchen. As one walks down along the cascading lagoons to the lower entrance, the primary lagoon includes the “floating” dining room. Locating the two guest bedrooms at the lower level and eliminating the bank at the golf edge, not only provided an unobstructed view from the two bedrooms, but maximized the views from the upstairs living and family rooms.
